Analysing a contents page 1

This is my first magazine content page analysis. as you can see the conetent page has plenty images of various artists.

This contents page has various pictures of artist. The images are set out to over lap each other in order to make the magazine look neat and tidy. The images in this contents page I would say are still for a much younger audience I would say from the age of 20-30. Also majority of the artist in this content page look like they are into because of the way they are dressed and there movements, there are 9 images which tell us that Q magazine has a lot to feature.

The colours and fonts are red, black and white. These colours all give the rock atmosphere as they are all dark and eccentric. The fonts again is very serious and is straight forward to read. This goes well with the front cover because the same colours and fonts are used in the front cover also which means the house style is being developed all over the magazine. The information on the other hand is quite complicated to read because there is a lot of it but this is covered up by the organisation of the writing. There are different sections in this content page on one side is Cheryl Cole and 50 cent and on another is Q quizzes this tells us that the magazine is planned. The magazine logo is places at the top left hand Connor and isn’t really visible and is over taken by the other images.
